Our Trip

March 14th

Our three families woke up in the morning and began the drive up to Amarillo. Soon (after about 7 hours) we found ourselves at a hotel. We went to dinner and Brandon got burnt by his fiery plate!

March 15th

The next day, we were off again, finally going to make it to Angel Fire, New Mexico. It was quite the scenic drive. We drove by many mountains, windmills, and even a frozen lake. We made it to Angel Fire only to find that our house we were staying in was beautiful. It had three stories and a very big living room, too. The stairs made us so tired because of the high altitude of the mountain. Even though we were tired, we had to pick up ski rentals. It took a very long time and by the time for dinner we were very frustrated. Thankfully, the Zebidiah's restaurant fixed us up with some great food.

March 16th

We woke to the immediate astonishment that today was our first skiing day!
